Bracewell has hired a former career Department of Justice attorney who has been involved in a number of recent high-profile cases, including related to energy.

The law and lobbying firm said it has brought on Seth DuCharme to its New York City office, as part of its government enforcement and investigations practice.

DuCharme had worked at DOJ since 2008, most recently as acting US attorney for the Eastern District of New York and principal associate deputy attorney general.
