On Wednesday, September 27, Partner David Perlman and Associate Stephen Hug kicked off the series with a discussion on recent developments in organized power markets and particular trends among Eastern and Western markets. Topics included: the continued evolution of CAISO’s Energy Imbalance Market; regional integration efforts in the west; recent developments in ZEC/REC litigation; and efforts to modify wholesale market design to take into account state public policy goals, including capacity market changes and carbon pricing.
