Partners Oldham and Rafte Named Law360 MVPs of the Year

HOUSTON – Bracewell & Giuliani LLP had a pair of partners named to the 2015 class of Law360 MVPs of the Year. Jeffrey L. Oldham earned his first Law360 MVP honor, while G. Alan Rafte was named a Law360 MVP for the second time. Both attorneys, along with their fellow MVP honorees, will be profiled in the coming weeks on the Law360 website.

Oldham was one of 10 attorneys to be named an MVP of the Year in the Appellate category. This year, he presented oral argument before the U.S. Supreme Court in Baker Botts LLP, et al. v. Asarco LLC, and achieved a victory when the court decided in favor of Bracewell’s client.

Rafte was again named by Law360 as an MVP of the Year in the Energy category (2013, 2015). He was one of only six energy lawyers in the country to be honored. Under his guidance, Bracewell’s energy practice has also been named an Energy Group of the Year by Law360 in each of the last four years.

A Portfolio Media, Inc. publication, Law360 annually honors the top attorneys in the legal industry for their exceptional work. This year, a group of Law360 editors reviewed more than 850 submissions from the top law firms, ultimately settling on 189 MVPs from a record 86 firms spanning 31 practice areas.
