HOUSTON — For the third consecutive year, Bracewell & Giuliani LLP’s energy practice has been named one of five Energy Groups of the Year by Law360. Winners were selected based on a number of factors, including significance of litigation wins or deals worked on; size and complexity of litigation wins or deals worked on; and number of significant, large or complex deals the group worked on or lawsuits won.
Bracewell was selected in part for its depth and wide-ranging representation, including transactional, regulatory and litigation. The practice was also recognized for its representation of high-profile clients such as Kinder Morgan, Chesapeake Energy Corporation and Apache Corporation.
“To be named among the top energy practice in the U.S. for the third-straight year truly speaks to the reputation and quality of the members of our energy team,” said G. Alan Rafte, co-head of the firm’s business and regulatory practice. “Bracewell’s representation of some of the world’s most noteworthy energy companies in transactional, regulatory and litigation matters is our primary business, and this award is testament to that.”
