Three Bracewell Partners Recognized in Houston Business Journal’s “Who’s Who in Energy” List

Bracewell Partners Gregory M. Bopp, W. James McAnelly and  G. Alan Rafte have  been recognized by the Houston Business Journal on its 2013 “Who’s Who in Energy” list.

Bopp serves as co-chair of the firm’s business and regulatory section and is a member of the firm-wide management committee. He has experience in tax and corporate matters related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and capital market transactions, and a special focus on matters related to master limited partnerships.

McAnelly represents oil, gas and energy industry clients in a broad range of oil and gas transactions, including the purchase, sale and/or financing of exploration and producing properties, processing plants, production and storage facilities and pipeline systems, as well as day-to-day operational representation. He also assists in the formation of joint ventures and partnerships for the funding, acquisition, operation, and development of energy projects.

Rafte is the co-chair of the firm's business and regulatory section. He serves clients in transactions that involve upstream oil and gas projects, gas and liquids pipelines and facilities, merchant electric generation facilities, electric utilities, and energy commodity trading.

The “Who’s Who in Energy” list spotlights the key players in their respective energy industries, including those involved in exploration, production, distribution, sales, finance, accounting, law, and many more. The honorees will be featured over the next several weeks with energy leaders from other regions via slideshow on eight business journal websites including Austin, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Pittsburgh, San Antonio, and St. Louis.
