Bracewell Represents Kinder Morgan in $1.6 Billion Preferred Stock Offering
HOUSTON – Bracewell & Giuliani LLP represented Kinder Morgan, Inc. (NYSE: KMI) in connection with its SEC-registered offering of 32 million depositary shares, each representing a 1/20th interest in a share of its 9.75 percent Series A Mandatory Convertible Preferred Stock. This transaction was Kinder Morgan’s first public offering of preferred equity securities. The depositary shares will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol KMI.PRA.
The offering was made through an underwriting syndicate led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC.
